At Harris Fields State School, we believe student leadership plays an important role in building confidence, responsibility and a strong sense of school pride. We provide students with opportunities to develop leadership skills and contribute positively to our school community.
Student leaders reinforce our school expectations — Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be a Learner — and act as positive role models for their peers. Through a range of leadership roles and responsibilities, students are encouraged to use their voice, work collaboratively and take initiative.
Our student leadership programs support the development of communication skills, teamwork and decision-making, while fostering empathy and respect for others. Students are guided and supported by staff to lead with integrity and make meaningful contributions to school life.
By empowering students to lead, we help them build the skills and confidence needed to succeed both at school and beyond.
